The major US media are not reporting this (from STRATFOR's 4th Quarter World Forecast):"Washington and Tehran continue to challenge one another over the future of Iraq, and ultimately over the balance of power in the Middle East. This sparring will continue in the fourth quarter, with one rather significant exception: Washington and Tehran are likely to reach a preliminary agreement on the factional balance in Baghdad, with a new power-sharing government for Iraq emerging."The US was unable to form a government out of all the factions in Iraq. Now the Iranians are working to do so.
The future of Iraq is Iran.
